To share important information with your colleagues, you can schedule reports to be sent to a group of users. When you schedule a report, you can customize the cadence and frequency at which you want to send reports.
To create a new Scheduled Report:

Navigate to Reports and select the report you would like to configure as a Scheduled Report.
You can also create a Scheduled Report from Settings > Scheduled Reports > +Add a Scheduled Report.

Depending on the report, select More Actions or the more actions menu (...) > Schedule Emailed Report.

Configure the settings for your report:

Enter the Report Name to help you and others easily identify the scheduled report when it's received. Your chosen name will appear as the subject of the email in your inbox.

Verify the Report Type which Samsara populates based on the report that you are currently viewing.
You can also choose from a variety of reports found in the dashboard as well as certain reports offered exclusively as scheduled reports. For more information about the reports available to schedule, see Scheduled Report Types B.

Choose your preferred Report Format: comma-separated values (CVS) or XLS.

Apply any relevant Tags for which you want to restrict the report.
If no tag is selected, the report will contain data across your entire organization. This data will be presented to all recipients, regardless of their role or access privileges.

From the Send Alert To field, select the recipients to whom you want send this report.
You can select one or more Alert Contacts. If you don't see recipient you want to add, click Manage to add a new contact.

Select the Recurrence for when you want to receive the report (Daily or Weekly).
Certain reports can be sent monthly and will be sent on the 1st of the month.

Select the time range you want applied to the report.
The time range start and end comprises the day of the week and time.

Select the time of day you want your report sent.

Save the settings for your scheduled report.
The Scheduled Report will be sent to the recipients at the configured date and time. The subject line of the email will contain the name you chose for the report, prepended with "[Samsara]". The following image displays an example body of the email:

If at any time you need to modify the settings for your Scheduled Report, you can edit the settings from Settings > Scheduled Reports > +Add a Scheduled Report.
