Note
DVIR is the US name for Walkaround Inspection in the UK.
Samsara Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) simplify the reporting process and eliminate all the paperwork. Samsara’s electronic DVIR helps drivers efficiently complete inspections and share findings directly with mechanics, creating an efficient maintenance communication loop. DVIRs instantly appear in Maintenance > DVIR, and sit alongside preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance logs, and real-time vehicle statuses.
