The Samsara Network Activity Report shows how often your Asset Tags (ATs) are detected by your own gateways and by other devices in the Samsara Network. Use this report to review the overall detection performance of your Asset Tags, including how consistently they are detected, where detections occur, and which network sources are capturing them. This visibility helps you confirm reliable coverage during deployments and monitor ongoing performance in the field.
When reviewing the report, you can use the following actions to assess detection performance:

Check overall visibility: Confirm the scale of Asset Tag coverage across your network and the Samsara Network using the summary at the top of the report.

Compare detection sources: See how much coverage comes from your own gateways versus Samsara-connected devices by reviewing the counts shown side by side in the report.

Focus on individual Asset Tags: Identify which Asset Tags show higher or lower activity by using the detection table with sorting and filtering options.

Interpret location data: Understand where Asset Tags are detected in the field by reviewing the map of individual assets, noting that each marker may represent multiple detections.
To access detection data for individual Asset Tags, use the following workflow:

In the Samsara dashboard, navigate to Reports (
).

In the Activity section, select Samsara Network.

To modify the scope of the report, sort the results by Asset Tag name or detection count, or adjust the time range from the default 7-day view.
