[en] For your convenience, you can view the serial numbers of your Samsara devices in multiple locations. You can also download a comma-separated values (CSV) file of your device serial numbers directly in the Samsara dashboardSamsara-dashboard. The CSV file contains additional information about your historical orders, such as product type and order number. For a description of the available fields, see [en] Fields in the Order Details Report. All Samsara hardware has a designated serial number except for cables.
[en] You can view device serial numbers in the following places:

[en] Email: After you purchase new devices, Samsara sends an email with the serial numbers of your devices and how to activate them.

[en] Packaging: The serial number is located on the outside of the device package.

[en] On the device: The serial number is located on the device itself.

[en] Samsara dashboardSamsara-dashboard: View the device serial numbers in the Order Details report (select an order > items in order > see device serials).
[en] To download a CSV file of serial numbers for your Samsara devices:

[en] Select the profile icon at the bottom of your Fleet menu in the Samsara dashboardSamsara-dashboard.

[en] Select Orders.

[en] (Optional) If you want to download data from a specific time period, you can use the date selector to narrow the scope of results.

[en] Select More Actions > Download CSV.
