HW-CL11 (receiver) and HW-CL12 (transmitter)
Use these steps when the Wireless Link receiver (HW-CL11) and transmitter (HW-CL12) do not pair, the Link LED does not stay solid green, or the in-cab monitor does not show the rear camera. Pairing depends on power line communication (PLC) over the trailer ABS power circuit on the same tractor-trailer combination. Both units must share that power path. Wireless Link is intended for single trailers only.
Start with Confirm Wireless Link Pairing. If the link still fails, use the receiver LED states to identify the failure mode, then work through the transmitter and receiver power debug procedures. For install paths, see Wireless Link Installation Paths.
Use the receiver green Link LED pattern and the in-cab monitor status to identify the current connection state.

When the receiver remains in state 1 or 2, or the Link LED never turns solid green, continue with the transmitter and receiver power debug procedures. When the receiver reaches state 4, confirm the camera GX-12 connection and camera power at the transmitter.
Use this procedure when the transmitter is powered through CBL-CL-AABS at the trailer ABS 5-pin connection and the link fails to pair. Trailer ABS module PLC can block pairing between the transmitter and receiver.
How to identify this issue: the link pairs only after you break the 5-pin connection from CBL-CL-AABS to the ABS module.

Remove and reinstall the transmitter and receiver antennas.
Hand-tighten each antenna. Do not use a wrench or other tools.

Place the receiver on the passenger seat and retest pairing.

Identify the 5-pin connection from CBL-CL-AABS to the ABS module.

Break that 5-pin connection and retest link pairing.

When pairing succeeds with the 5-pin connection open, treat the ABS module as the source of PLC interference.

Remove CBL-CL-AABS, restore the original 5-pin ABS connection, and install transmitter power using the 7-way method in the Wireless Link - Transmitter and Receiver Installation Guide.
Use this procedure when the transmitter already uses 7-way power and the Link LED still does not stay solid green. The current receiver power path may be incompatible with the 7-way power configuration, or the units may not share the same power line for PLC.

Confirm that the tractor and trailer 7-way cable is connected and that both units have a solid red Power LED.

Change the receiver power source so it shares the trailer ABS power path with the transmitter.
Follow Debug Receiver Power from RP1226 or Debug Receiver Power with an Alternate Source, then retest pairing.

When the link still fails, return to the receiver power options in the Wireless Link - Transmitter and Receiver Installation Guide and evaluate the next power source in order.
Use this procedure when the receiver is powered from the RP1226 path with CBL-MC-RP1226-PWR and PLC does not connect. Check the receiver LED state first, then rule out transmitter ABS interference before you change cables.

Use the receiver LED and monitor states to confirm the connection status.

Follow the steps in Debug Transmitter ABS Module Power to confirm whether the transmitter ABS power path is blocking pairing.

When PLC still does not connect and you have ruled out the ABS module, power the receiver with CBL-CL-APWR instead of CBL-MC-RP1226-PWR.

Power-cycle both units and confirm that the Link LED turns solid green.
Use this procedure when the receiver needs direct ignition or ABS-side power, PLC still fails to connect, or the in-cab monitor shows an inverted camera view. Some tractors include a filter between battery power and the 7-way ABS circuit. That filter can block PLC unless the receiver is powered on the same side of the filter as the transmitter.

Wire the receiver directly to ignition power through the fuse box or an exposed ignition wire using CBL-CL-APWR.

Power-cycle both units and confirm whether PLC connects (Link LED solid green).
When PLC still fails, treat an inline PLC filter as likely.

Locate the blue ABS wire in the cab or under the hood, ideally near the 7-way plug box or the engine-compartment power distribution box.

Power the receiver from that ABS-side circuit so the receiver and transmitter share the same side of any filter relative to the 7-way connection.

Power-cycle both units and confirm that the Link LED turns solid green.

Confirm the rear camera view on the in-cab monitor.
