HW-CL11 (receiver) and HW-CL12 (transmitter)
After you install and power the Wireless Link transmitter (HW-CL12) and receiver (HW-CL11), confirm pairing before you permanently mount either unit. Pairing uses power line communication (PLC), so both units must share that power line. These checks apply to every transmitter and receiver power path.

Complete these checks for every install. The first step differs by install type; the LED and camera checks are the same for tractor-trailer and non-trailer installs.

Tractor-trailer install: Connect the 7-way cable between the tractor and the trailer so both units share the ABS power path for PLC.
Non-trailer install: Skip the 7-way connection. Confirm that the transmitter and receiver share the same power domain for PLC.

Power on the vehicle.

On both the transmitter and the receiver, confirm that the Power LED lights solid red.

Wait at least 10 seconds, then confirm that the Link LED lights solid green on both units.
Tip
When the Link LED does not turn solid green, power-cycle both units, wait at least 10 seconds, and see Troubleshoot the Wireless Link.

When the Link LED is solid green, confirm that the rear camera view displays on the in-cab monitor.
