Get Started with Customizable Driver App Home Screens

We recently introduced a refreshed Driver App that allows your drivers and admins to work more efficiently and stay engaged. 

What’s new and how to get started:

• Assign templates by worker type (fastest path): Apply Samsara’s pre-built layouts for regulated drivers, non-regulated drivers, and field workers. Templates speed rollout and keep things consistent, so drivers see the most relevant tasks right on the home screen with fewer clicks.
• Customize your own layouts (maximum control): If your workflows are unique, design home screens from scratch (or duplicate and modify a template). Surface exactly the modules and tasks your teams need, optimized based on your organizations needs.

Action required: Migrate to the updated Driver App by February 19, 2026. Begin your transition now to train your drivers on the new experience and configure the Driver App home screens to best suit your organization. When you’re ready to migrate your drivers to the new experience, go to Settings > Driver App > Home Screens.
