For dual and front-facing dash cams with AI capabilities, you can use in-cab voice coaching alerts to provide your drivers with immediate feedback to correct speeding violations. These real-time speeding notifications can lead to an overall reduction in unsafe behaviors and an increase in fuel savings.
After you enable in-cab speeding alerts, you can configure the dash cam to play either a tone or this sound when the vehicle has exceeded the speed limit for at least 20 seconds. The alert repeats every 10 seconds until the vehicle slows down below the threshold. You can configure the alert to play when the vehicle speed is greater than a fix speed (mph) or more than a percentage above the posted speed limit.
Tip
For more information about speeding, see Driver Speeding and Speed Limits.
