To help drivers understand when their dash cam is actively recording, you can enable the camera to display a visible LED light. This builds transparency and trust—especially for long-haul drivers resting in their vehicles, those parking at home, or field service drivers operating in residential areas.
The LED clearly signals when recording is on. Following the press of the button, the LED pulses blue for one second and then transitions to the LED state. The following table explains what each LED color means based on the dash cam model installed in the vehicle.
