From the Samsara dashboard, administrators can optimize driver workflows by adding, editing, removing, and reordering default remarks that appear in the Samsara Driver App. This functionality enables admins to standardize remarks, improving back-office record-keeping and increasing driver efficiency.
Admins can customize ELD log remarks directly from the Samsara dashboard using the following workflow:

Select the Settings icon (
) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

Within Fleet, select Compliance.

Navigate to Customizable Remarks and enable the functionality.

In the same view, select Edit remarks to view Customized Remarks.

Select + Add Remarks to create a new remark.
If desired, Add multiple remarks at once then select Done.
Note
You can add up to 100 remarks.

Click and drag the hamburger icon (
) to change the order the remarks display in the Samsara Driver App.

Edit or Remove an existing remark.

Select Done to save changes.
Drivers will be able to instantly access the updated remarks in the Samsara Driver App once the changes are saved.
