To keep your organization informed on fleet activity, you can send alerts for events that matter most to you and your administrators, including text alert notifications to users such as admins or drivers.
Before you configure an alert for text, ensure you gather explicit consent from intended recipients that they want to receive SMS messages.
If you configure an alert for text, recipients can expect to receive a text notification every time an alert triggers. To cancel the SMS service at any time, recipients can text STOP. After the recipient sends STOP, Samsara will send an SMS message to confirm they have unsubscribed. Afterward, the recipient will no longer receive SMS text messages from Samsara. To restart a recipient's text alert subscription again, they can text START. If the recipient experiences issues with the messaging program, they can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates can apply for any messages sent to recipients from Samsara.
