Restarting a device can solve a variety of issues that may occur on the device. When necessary, you can remotely restart a device from the Samsara dashboard. This saves time by eliminating the need to coordinate the restart with the device user.
To restart a managed device:
From the Fleet menu, select MEM > Mobile Devices.
You can also locate the device on the MEM Overview page.
From the action menu (...) for the device, Restart Device.
As soon as the device connects to the internet and checks in with the Samsara cloud, the restart is initiated.
