Configure Wi-Fi Networks

Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

Before you configure settings restrictions, Enroll Your Organization.

In MEM, select Policy.

Create or edit an MEM Policy.

On the Wi-Fi Networks tab, choose whether to Enable mobile devices to connect to Samsara gateway hotspot.

With this option, you allow all enrolled devices to connect to the hotspot on a Vehicle Gateway (VG) without providing the credentials to device users. Selecting Automatically connect to this Wi-Fi network ensures the device will connect to the VG hotspot automatically when in range.

Add any additional Wi-Fi networks to which your devices can connect such as for your offices, yards, and warehouses.

For each network, enter a Wi-Fi Network Name, SSID, Security method, and Password if required. For each network, you can also enable your devices to Automatically connect to this Wi-Fi network.

Add Wi-Fi Network when finished.

In the top right, Publish to <X> devices. Samsara will deliver the policy update to the devices as soon as they connect to the internet.
