Your access to Samsara tools and documentation depends on your role in your organization. Administrators and drivers use different Samsara websites, apps, and Help Center content based on how your user account is configured. Administrative access is controlled through administrator-managed accounts and assigned roles.
To use Samsara tools that require sign-in, such as the Samsara dashboard or administrator documentation in the Help Center, an administrator must create your user account in the Samsara dashboard.
If you are a driver, use these resources to complete driver workflows.

Samsara Driver App: Use this app when an administrator has configured your account as a driver.

Samsara Help Center: Use driver-facing documentation for the Driver App, including inspections, hours of service workflows, and trip-related tasks.
If you are an administrator, use these resources to manage users, devices, and organization-level settings.

Samsara dashboard: Use the dashboard to manage users, devices, assets, and settings. Access the dashboard at cloud.samsara.com or at the cloud URL assigned to your organization, such as cloud.ca.samsara.com or cloud.eu.samsara.com.

Samsara Fleet App: Use this app for mobile access if you are an administrator or installer. Your access depends on your assigned administrative roles.

Samsara Help Center: Use administrator-facing documentation and submit support requests. You sign in with the same credentials as the Samsara dashboard.

Ask an administrator to create your user account in the Samsara dashboard.
You cannot sign in to tools that require authentication until your account exists and your roles are assigned.

The Samsara Help Center uses the same credentials as the Samsara dashboard for administrator sign-in.
