You can integrate your third-party PressurePro Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS) with Samsara gateways to monitor tire pressure and temperature across your fleet. This integration provides visibility into tire conditions for tractors and trailers and enables alerting based on PressurePro data.
The integration includes the following capabilities:
- Tire Data Visibility: View tire pressure, temperature, and tire condition data for tractors and trailers as TPMS data in the Samsara dashboard.
- Tire Condition Alerts: Configure Samsara alerts based on PressurePro tire condition data.
To use the PressurePro integration, you must have compatible PressurePro and Samsara hardware installed. For guidance on selecting the appropriate Samsara gateway for your installation scenario, see Deployment.
You can purchase the PressurePro gateway and tire sensors from your local PressurePro dealer. To improve reliability and enable tracking without a powered Asset Gateway (AG), you may optionally purchase and install a repeater.
The PressurePro system integrates with compatible Samsara hardware: either a Vehicle Gateway (VG) with a repeater or a powered Asset Gateway (AG).
For installation instructions, refer to the device documentation and the following supplementary information:
- Powered Asset Gateway integration: When you install the powered Asset Gateway, the trailer TPMS integration interfaces with a PressurePro gateway using the CBL-AG-ATPM Samsara 7-way cable with 4-pin connector.
- Vehicle Gateway integration: When you install the VG, use the existing CAN line to connect the Samsara VG to the PressurePro gateway.
