Deployment Steps
Trans Plus built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please reach out to Trans Plus Support.
- Log into your Samsara dashboard and navigate to Settings > API Tokens
- Create an API Token within the Samsara dashboard named "Trans Plus Integration" (learn about how to create an API token here)
- If you are using Tags, grant Tag Access (default is “Entire Organization”)
- Select the following Scopes for this integration:
- Addresses category
- Read Addresses
- Write Addresses
- Driver Workflow category
- Read Routes
- Write Routes
- Read Messages
- Write Messages
- Drivers category
- Read Drivers
- Read Documents
- Equipment category
- Read Equipment
- Safety & Cameras category
- Read Safety Events & Scores
- Vehicles category
- Read Vehicles
- Read Vehicle Statistics
- Addresses category
- Send the Samsara API Token to your Trans Plus rep and request the Samsara integration
- Trans Plus will guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration
