Integrate with Aptean Routing & Scheduling

Connect Aptean Route Execution with Samsara to keep your planning and execution teams in sync.

The integration includes the following features:

  • Samsara GPS location and vehicle data sync with Aptean Routing for planned vs. actual route visibility, customer ETA notifications, and exception management for dispatchers

  • Integrate source of truth data for reporting and business intelligence

Requirements

  • Aptean: None

  • Samsara: API access with Read permissions

Deployment

Aptean built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Aptean Support.

  1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

  2. Search for and then select Aptean to install the app.

    Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

  3. Send the API token to Aptean Account Manager and request the Samsara integration.
