With the Inbox in the Samsara Driver App, you can review notifications and important tasks.

Inbox events consist of tasks and notifications:

Tasks: Action-orientated to-dos with assignment details such as due date, assignee, and status. The types of tasks will vary based on the features your organization has enabled:

Assigned forms (available for Forms customers only)

Virtual coaching (available if Virtual Coach (Beta) is enabled)

Assigned training
-
Log certification

Unassigned hours review

Notifications: Notifications inform you when you receive an alert. Supported notifications in the inbox include:

Fleet-wide alerts configured by your fleet administrator

HOS Violation Alerts

The actions you can take for each Inbox event depend on the event type:
Tasks: Tasks are automatically removed from the inbox after they are completed.
Notifications: To manage a notification, tap and hold the event. You can select one or more events to take the following actions:

Unread (
): Mark the notification as unread.

Delete (
): Remove the notification from your Inbox.
