The Driver HOS Audit Report enables you to view an audit trail of duty status changes and edits to an individual driver’s logs. From Compliance ( ) > Driver HOS Audit you can view a report of the total number of status updates per driver.
To drill down into the specific status changes for a driver, you can select the row for the driver.

When the Samsara Driver App loses connection with the Vehicle Gateway (VG), audit log updates are queued. When the app reestablishes a connection, the VG reconciles any trip activity to reflect recorded events at the time they occurred. If connectivity is intermittent, multiple driver-initiated status changes may be recorded, but are consolidated into a single segment by the VG.
If your service plan allows for it, it is recommended that drivers connect to the wireless hotspot of the VG, so that when the mobile device is unable to connect to a cellular network, the app can communicate with the VG.
The Driver HOS Audit Report displays the following information for the driver:

Vehicle associated with the status change, if known. |

Driver status, if known. Off Duty, Driving, or On Duty. |

The time an action in the audit report began, for example a Drive status started at 8:00am. |
Until |
The time an action in the audit report completed, for example a Drive status ended at 10:00am. |
Action |
An indication of whether the entry in the audit log was Created, Deleted, or Updated. |
Mobile Device |
Mobile device type if a status change was initiated by the driver. |
