Low Device Battery / Critical Device Battery |

Not Detected |
The AT has not been detected by a gateway for at least 30 days. Verify installation and proximity to a gateway. To troubleshoot, see Not Detected troubleshooting steps. |
Use the following procedures to resolve AT health issues based on the reported health reason.
-
Confirm the battery state on the Asset Details, Asset List, or Device Settings page.
-
Replace the device when in Critical state. To request a replacement under an active license, contact Support.
-
If the device reports a low battery earlier than expected, review environmental factors such as extreme temperatures or heavy vibration.
-
Verify that the AT is securely attached to the asset.
-
Ensure the asset is within range of a Samsara gateway and not blocked by metal or other obstructions.
-
Move the asset to an open area or closer to a gateway to restore detection.
-
If the AT has not been detected after confirming placement and range, contact Support.
