This feature is ideal for safety managers and fleet operators in weather-prone areas who need to make fast, informed decisions.

Weather Intelligence is available for fleets in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, and Ireland with a supported enterprise license:

When viewing an alert, use the Details view to assess scope and impact.

Add the Public Alerts overlay to see official weather warnings and impacted drivers or vehicles.

In Fleet Overview, click the Map Options button.

Choose Public Alerts from the dropdown.

Click any alert zone on the map to preview the summary.

Select Details to view full alert information and images.

Select Message to notify drivers directly from the alert view.
Note
Alert summaries include severity level, timing, and a list of affected workers and assets.
Use the built-in messaging tool to contact workers based on their proximity to severe weather.

Click Message in either the alert preview or alert details panel.

Choose a suggested message or write your own.

Deliver via the Driver App or in-cab audio.

If messages don’t send, ensure the Samsara Driver App is updated to the latest version.
