Bring granular Samsara GPS location data into the Roadnet Anywhere Planned vs. Actuals trip report.
The integration includes the following features:

Pull in Samsara location data for Roadnet’s Planned vs. Actual Report to improve route planning and coach drivers when they deviate from the route plan.

Roadnet Anywhere: Customers must be using Roadnet Anywhere solution

Customers can request the Samsara integration as part of the Roadnet Telematics Adapter option list

Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope
Omnitracs built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Omnitracs Support.

Create a Samsara API Token named
Roadnet Integrationwith read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Omnitracs representative.For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

Send the token to your Omnitracs representative and request the Samsara integration.
Omnitracs Support will enable the integration under Telematics > 3rd Party in the Roadnet Settings, selecting Samsara as the Provider, and then entering the API Key.

Download your list of vehicles including the unique Samsara Vehicle ID.

Go to Settings > Devices > More Actions > Upload CSV.

Click on Gateways List.
Column A will contain the Vehicle ID.
If you need help finding the unique Samsara Vehicle ID, ask Samsara Support.

Provide your Omnitracs rep with a list of Samsara vehicles and their associated Samsara ID.
Omnitracs will complete systems mapping to enable the Samsara GPS sync.
