The AG26 and AG52 Asset Gateways (AG) offer many configurations to physically connect to reefers. Currently, Samsara supports two reefer manufacturers, Carrier and Thermo King:
For an AG26 Carrier installation, current model coverage includes X4 and Vector 8xxx models. The X4 models require the CBL-AG-ARCR-X4 cable that connects directly into the reefer unit. Vector 8xxx models require the CBL-AG-ARCR-VT cable. Use the following table to determine the appropriate cable for your Carrier reefer:

The AG52 and AG53 are compatible with most Thermo King models. To confirm compatibility, see the Compatibility Reference Guide. For all installation types, you will need the CBL-AG-BRTK cable (Install Guide).

To install an AG26 on a Thermo King reefer, you will need either the 1-cable or 2-cable CBL-AG-ARTK configuration:

This cable draws power from both the 7-way power connection and the reefer unit and is compatible the Thermo King models listed below. When reviewing the Thermo King reefer compatibility, consider the controller board used in the refrigeration unit.
