This integration provides the following features:

Integrate vehicle GPS, engine hours, and odometer data in Element platform and systems to drive replacement planning, status updates, and maintenance recommendations

Analyze diagnostics such as fault codes to optimize total costs of maintaining your fleet

Track safety events captured in Samsara, including details such as speeding, harsh acceleration, harsh braking, and harsh turning to monitor driver risk and overall fleet policy compliance

Samsara: API token for data access. For more information, see API Token Apps.
Element built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Element Support.

Contact your Element sales representative to initiate the Samsara integration.

From the Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

Search for and then select
Elementto install and generate an API token with predefined data access scopes.-
(Optional) If you want to limit access to a group of assets, it is recommended to assign Tags to those assets in the Samsara dashboard.

Note down the API token for future reference.

Securely send the API token to your Element FPS Account Lead to complete setup.
