Stoneridge Compatibility and Remote Download Activation

Before Samsara can capture VU and Driver Card data from the Stoneridge tachograph, you must configure the C-CAN parameters for remote download.

Supported Stoneridge Tachograph Hardware

Samsara supports Stoneridge SE5000 version 7.3 or above.

Configure the Stoneridge Tachograph for remote downloads as described in the following table:

Show remote download	Set to No to enforce silent remote downloads where the driver is unaware that a remote download is taking place. Determines whether the driver is aware that a remote download is taking place or not. A value of No indicates remote downloads are silent; A value of Yes indicates the driver is notified.	No
Wake-up on CAN	OFF: When OFF, Remote Download will require Ignition ON. Note Samsara only supports downloads with Ignition ON. A CAN C CAN Both: If the SE5000 is already set to A-CAN, change this to Both.	Both

The configuration of the tachograph can be changed only by a mechanic at your Stoneridge approved workshop.

After changing any CAN parameters, it is necessary to disconnect and reconnect the tachograph power plug for the new settings to take effect.
