You can use the following UKG Kronos payroll solutions with Samsara:

Integrate with Kronos Workforce Ready Suite by GLCS

This integration generates sign-in and sign-out events in Kronos from Samsara Hours of Service (HOS) logs.

Note

This integration is owned and managed by Global Logistics Consulting Services (GLCS), a third-party System Integrator on the Samsara Experts Marketplace. There is a deployment fee for this integration.

The integration includes the following features:

  • Pull SignIn and SignOut authentications from the Samsara API and create login and logout records in a flat file that represent a login and logout block for the drivers

  • Import flat file into Kronos to record login and logout (clock) times for drivers

  • Flat file export can be scheduled to run at a certain time of day or it may be created manually

Requirements

  • Kronos Workforce Ready Suite: No specific version requirements needed

  • Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

  • GLCS: Installation of GLCS Samsara Kronos Channel. GCLS Channel is a Windows Service that is installed to execute the Samsara - Kronos integration.

Deployment

GLCS, a third-party developer on the Samsara Experts Marketplace, built this integration. If you do not already work with GLCS, please contact Mike Turner at mturner@globallcs.com or call 410-253-9996.

  1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Kronos Workforce Ready Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your GLCS representative.

    For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

  2. Send the token to your GLCS representative and request the Samsara integration for Kronos Workforce Ready.

    GLCS Support will will walk you through any remaining steps.

Integrate with UKG Ultipro by XDS

Connect Samsara to UKG’s Ultipro Time and Attendance system for driver payroll management.

The integration includes the following features:

  • Automated clock-in and clock-out time punches generated as driver goes on and off duty in Samsara

  • Optional auto on/off duty generated as driver punches in and out of payroll system

Note

This integration can be enabled by XDS, one of the third-party System Integrators on the Samsara Expert Marketplace. There is a deployment fee and recurring hosting cost for this integration.

Requirements

  • UKG Ultipro: API token from UKG

    Note

    Note the token needs to be updated every 90 days. You can request tokens and updates by contacting UKG customer service

  • Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

  • XDS: Executed SOW with XDS and subscription license agreement

Deployment

Xenolytics Data Solutions (XDS) built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact XDS Support.

  1. Request and sign SOW with XDS.

  2. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

  3. Search for and then select UKG Pro (UltiPro) by XDS to install the app and generate a Samsara API token.

  4. Obtain an API token from UKG Customer Service.

  5. Send both API tokens to support@xenolytic.com to request the Samsara integration.

    XDS Support will configure the account.
