Loadtrek's integration to Samsara syncs routes, job updates, hours of service and messaging between dispatchers and drivers.
The integration includes the following features:
- Vehicle & trailer GPS
- Send Loadtrek route schedules directly to drivers on the Samsara Driver App
- Receive en route updates in Loadtrek from Samsara, including GPS and job updates
- Send messages to Samsara drivers from Loadtrek
- Sync hours of service (HOS) with Loadtrek

Deployment Steps
Ordinal Science, Loadtrek's system integrator partner, built this integration. To have Ordinal Science deploy the integration, start by reaching out to your Loadtrek rep directly, or email Questions@Loadtrekservices.net. If you do not have an existing relationship with Loadtrek, email Sales@Loadtrek.net.
- Log into your Samsara dashboard and navigate to Settings > API Tokens
- Create an API Token within the Samsara dashboard named "LoadTrek Integration" (learn about how to create an API token here)
- If you are using Tags, grant Tag Access (default is “Entire Organization”)
- Select the following Scopes for this integration:
- Compliance Category
- Write ELD Hours of Service (US)
- Driver Workflow category
- Read Messages
- Write Messages
- Read Routes
- Write Routes
- Drivers category
- Read Drivers
- Read Documents
- Vehicles category
- Read Vehicles
- Read Vehicle Statistics
- Compliance Category
- Send the Samsara API Token to your LoadTrek rep and request the Samsara integration
- LoadTrek will guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration
