Integrate with Slack

Samsara provides the ability to integrate with Slack. The integration allows you to receive alert notifications over individual Slack messages or Slack channels.

Note

This is not yet available for Unsafe DVIR alerts.

Requirements

Slack: None
Samsara: None

Deployment

Select the Slack channel to which you want to send alerts.
1. You can configure the integration on the Settings > Apps > Enabled Apps > Manage > Add Slack.
2. Select who will be able to view these Samsara Notifications and where Samsara Notifications will post.
Assign alerts to a given channel.
1. Navigate to the Alerts section by clicking on the bell icon to the bottom left.
2. Click Configure and select the alert for which you want to receive Slack notifications.
3. Scroll down to Send Slack Notifications and select the channel.
  
  For any future alerts, the Samsara Notifications bot will post a message with the alert details.
