Beta Feature Enablement from Feature Management
This feature is in beta and is not generally available to all customers. To enable and test this feature, enable the feature from Feature Management. Alternatively, you can contact your Customer Success Manager or the Technical Support Team.
Enhancements to the Fleet App integrate the Samsara Cloud Dashboard into the mobile app, enabling seamless fleet management from any compatible device. The update features a streamlined menu for faster navigation, broader access to fleet monitoring and maintenance tools, improved account management, and an AI-powered assistant for real-time insights.
This update eliminates the need to switch between the desktop and mobile versions and provides the following key enhancements:
Users can quickly navigate to essential sections of the dashboard by tapping Menu ( ) in the navigation bar:

) Overview: Monitor vehicle locations and activity.

) Maintenance: Review open DVIRs, defects, and resolve issues.

) Safety: Review safety events, send events for coaching, and assign training.
The existing navigation bar continues to provide quick access to Messages ( ), Alerts (
), and the fleet Overview Map (
). Additionally, the Safety Dashboard (
) has been enhanced with new capabilities, allowing users to review safety events, send them for coaching, and assign training directly from the mobile app, making safety management more efficient.
Users can manage their account settings by tapping Menu ( ) > profile icon (top right) to:

Switch organizations: Ideal for installers or users managing multiple organizations, tap View My Organizations to seamlessly switch between dashboards.

Configure safety score settings: Adjust safety score settings from Organization settings (
) to align with company safety policies.

View billing details: Access billing settings and insights to track and manage fleet costs efficiently.
Administrators can use the AI-powered assistant to ask fleet-related questions, such as “Which vehicles have active faults?” Access this tool from the navigation bar by tapping Assistant ( ).

Provide Feedback: Share your experience with the Product Team by tapping Menu (
) > Give Feedback.

Switch to Classic: Exit the beta version and return to the classic Fleet App by tapping Menu (
