Install Cameras from the Samsara Sites App

From the Samsara Sites App, on the Views tab, tap the actions menu in the top right of the screen ( ... ) > Add Cameras.

Select the Site Gateway to which you want to add cameras, and then tap Next.

The app sends a request to the Site Gateway and begins the scanning process to identify cameras.

If the Site Gateway is not currently online, you can proceed with the camera deployment process and later add them to a Site Gateway.

Select one or more Samsara or third-party cameras and then tap Next.

For any cameras that require authentication, enter the username and password used to access the camera and then tap Next when finished.

For each camera, provide a descriptive name, if desired, and then tap Add camera.

For each camera, select it to verify the angle is as expected.

Adjust the placement as needed.

Click the back arrow when you are finished verifying cameras, and then click Done.

The new cameras are visible from the Cameras view. To add cameras to a custom view, you must add them from the Samsara dashboard.
