On-Demand Live Streaming provides real-time, user-initiated video access to vehicles on an active trip, allowing authorized users to monitor driver behavior, vehicle surroundings, and in-cab activity when needed.
On-Demand Live Streaming helps fleet operators:

Monitor driver behavior in real time to enforce safety policies and provide immediate coaching.

Respond to incidents immediately by assessing collisions, roadside emergencies, or security threats as they happen.

Verify fleet operations and compliance by checking vehicle location, road conditions, and in-cab activity.
Before enabling or initiating Live Streaming, complete the Live Streaming Overview checklist which includes:

Review the Live Streaming License and Usage Limits: Verify streaming time availability and licensing needs.

Review the Live Stream Privacy Considerations: Ensure compliance with data privacy policies.

Review the Live Stream Requirements: Ensure the vehicle, network, and user permissions meet the necessary criteria for streaming.
Use the following workflow to enable Live Streaming capabilities for your entire fleet or Configure Individual Vehicle Dash Cam Settings to enable settings for specific vehicles.

Select the Settings icon (
) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

Within Devices, select Configuration > Cameras.

Enable On-Demand within the Live Streaming settings, then select which camera views, in-cab audio, and Parking Mode recordings are allowed during an on-demand live stream.
The availability of these options depends on the camera recording settings configured for the organization or individual vehicles. For example, enabling Privacy Mode or disabling audio affects which live streaming options can be used.

Click Save to apply the settings.
On-Demand Streaming provides real-time access to a vehicle’s dash cam. The system notifies the driver through an in-cab audio alert when a live stream starts and ends.
To initiate a live stream, perform the following workflow:

Navigate to your Fleet Overview (
).

Select a vehicle that is currently on a trip.
-
Click View Live Stream on the still image to begin streaming.
Camera views and audio availability depend on configured settings.

Review the live stream footage.
Tip
The full screen video will be black until a connection is made. If the vehicle is online with a strong cellular signal, the live stream will begin within 5-10 seconds. If the stream does not start, verify that the vehicle is online and has an active cellular connection.

Click View on map to continue streaming alongside the map view.
A confirmation prompt appears every minute to continue streaming. If no action is taken within 30 seconds, the stream ends automatically.

To end the stream, return to View Live Stream and click Stop.
