[en] As a driver, you may receive a notification in the Samsara Driver Appapplication Samsara Driver when your administrator shares a safety event for you to review. These events are typically related to unsafe driving behaviors like speeding or following too closely. The goal is to help you improve your driving habits, either by self-coaching or during a manager-led coaching session.

[en] In many cases, these safety events—especially more serious ones—are automatically flagged and routed to your fleet’s Safety Inbox. For example, if you were driving more than 12 mph over the speed limit for over 60 seconds, your trip may be flagged as a Severe Speeding event. Once that happens, your administrator can share the event with you to review and coach yourself.
