Integrating with Precog

The integration includes the following features:

• SQL-ready tables: Precog automatically creates the tables you need from Samsara source data. Tables can be edited or updated easily with zero coding.

• Load tables: Precog lets you load the SQL-ready tables to all popular data warehouse, database/data Lake, or business intelligence (BI) tools in a single click, and keeps the data up to date with the changes. You can also easily export CSV files or stream them to your BI tools.

For example, fleets that use Samsara and Precog have connected vehicle and driver hours data for reporting and performance metrics in outside systems. Learn more on Precog's site.

Deployment Steps

Precog built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please reach out to Precog Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named "Precog Integration" with the appropriate granular scopes based on your reporting needs (learn about how to create an API token here).

   • By default, you can provide Global Read access

   • Or granular scopes for relevant datasets

2. Add Samsara as a Precog “source” and enter the Samsara API Token as well as any integration parameters.

3. Reach out to Precog Support for additional help configuring the connector.
