The Alerts Inbox in the Fleet App provides both access to detailed critical alert information and provides response actions for admins to more quickly address time-sensitive alert incidents while away from their desks. With this feature, fleet managers can remain connected to their operations and drivers while on the go, and have instant and actionable access to information needed to efficiently manage their fleet operations.
To view alerts in the Alerts Inbox, administrative users must first be added as recipients to the alert in the alert configuration page.
To navigate and manage your Alerts Inbox, perform the following workflow:

In the Samsara Fleet App, tap Alerts ( ).
The Alerts Inbox displays alert incidents as rows and provides alert details including the alert type, the asset or driver, time of the incident, and alert status. Alerts remain in My Alerts until you mark them as Archive. Currently, the Archive functionality is only available in iOS.

To narrow the scope of your results, use the Filter at the top in all Alerts Inbox.
Currently, the Filter functionality is only available in iOS. The Alerts Inbox applies the filter to all Alerts Inbox tabs (My Alerts, Archive, and All Alerts).

To manage the alert, swipe left on the incident and tap the action Archive, Mark as Unread, or Mark as Read or tap the alert to view additional alert details.
All alert incident details contain a description of the incident, a list of all recipients, and if the alert is currently active (Alerting). If the alert has an assigned driver, the details will also show a link to the vehicle and driver page, if available.

After you archive an alert, it displays in the Archive tab.

To view all fleet alert incidents from the last 7 days, including archived alerts, tap the All Alerts tab.
