Streamlined workflow between the driver and office minimizes the number of touch points and check calls, and ensures visibility of assets and shipment details.
The integration includes the following features:

GPS sync: Dispatchers see the real-time GPS location information of their equipment

Route dispatch: Dispatchers can send trip details directly from the Tailwind TMS to the Samsara App so that drivers know where they're going next

Job updates: Drivers can update the arrival and departure status directly from the Samsara App and it will flow through and immediately update the trip status in the TMS

Messaging: Directly message drivers from within the Tailwind TMS using the chat features built into the Samsara app
System Requirements
- Customers must be on Tailwind Enterprise or Unlimited product tiers
Tailwind built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please reach out to Tailwind Support.

In Tailwind, click on the gear icon in the top right-hand corner, and select Configuration

Select Integrations > Telematics

Click “Authorize”. This will re-direct you to login to your Samsara account.

Lastly, you’ll need to map your Tailwind drivers to those found in Samsara.
