Integrating with Convey Tech

Overview

Automatically send digital tachograph data from Samsara to Convey for analysis and reporting.

The integration includes the following features:

• Automatic, remote tachograph download from Samsara to Convey Tech

Deployment Steps

Convey Tech built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please reach out to Convey Tech Support.

1. Log into your Samsara dashboard and navigate to Settings > API Tokens
2. Create an API Token within the Samsara dashboard named "Convey Tech Integration" (learn about how to create an API token here)
   • If you are using Tags, grant Tag Access (default is “Entire Organization”)
   • Select the following Scopes for this integration:
     1. Read Tachograph (EU) under the Compliance category
3. Send the Samsara API Token to your Convey Tech rep and request the Samsara integration
4. Convey Tech will guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration
