Safety Dashboard Overview
The Safety Dashboard provides the landing page for key fleet Safety Data. The Safety Dashboard helps you view high-level trends, navigate reports using your fleet tags, and identify the granular safety insights and risk factors that impact your Safety Scores. To view your Safety Dashboard, navigate to Safety ( ).
You can view the Score Distribution by Driver or Vehicle or use the Safety Summary to view your fleet as a whole. The Safety Summary is divided into three main sections to help you assess your fleet safety status:
Safety Score: Shows how safety scores have changed over the selected time period
Risk Factor: Provides detail into the events and behaviors that affect the safety score
- Performance: Displays the top safety performers by tag. From the Tags filter on the left of the Safety Summary, select the Driver tab or the Vehicle tab to view top performers in each category.
The Safety Summary provides an at-a-glance overview of the main contributors to the safety rating of your fleet. To highlight safety areas of concern, the Safety Summary displays your Safety Score over the last 30 days, behavioral insights to your score during that time period, performance by organizational tags, and risk factor trends.
You can narrow the scope of the summary to view specific vehicle or driver tags using the Tags filter to the left of the Safety Summary. The tag navigation shows drivers and vehicles with tags. To view safety data report for specific groups, assign tags to drivers and vehicles. For example, if you have a hub that is managed by a team, create a tag for that hub and assign all of the drivers who report into that hub to the newly created tag.
If the tag has nested tags within it, the top and bottom performing tag groups display. Otherwise, the top and bottom performing drivers or vehicles display.
The Safety Score trend graph displays the change in safety scores over the last 30 days (default). Use the date selector to customize the display to a specific time range. To further zoom in on safety score information for a specific point in time, hover over the graph line. See Safety Score Calculation for more information on how the Safety Score is calculated.
To help you monitor the safety score for your fleet, you can set a Safety Score goal. The goal is a configurable target that you set from the Safety settings. After you enable the safety goal, the safety score trend graph, tag score trends, and individual driver score trends display the safety score goal line to help you visually compare your current score to your target. To enable the Safety Score goal, navigate to fleet settings ( ) > Safety > Safety Score and enable Safety Score Target. Enter a Target Score for your fleet.
To the right of the Safety Score trend graph, you can view your Behavioral Insights to identify trends that influence changes in driving safety data for your fleet. These factors include the behavior that has experienced the greatest change in the selected period as compared to the prior selected period, the behavior that has the biggest impact on the score, and (for tags) the percentage comparison against other tags.
Risk Factor reports provide greater detail into the events and behaviors that affect the safety score. The Risk Factor widgets at the bottom of the Safety Summary display a Score Impact value in the top right of the widget. The Score Impact value shows the number of points that were removed from the safety score due to a given risk factor.
By default, all risk factors are equally weighted against the safety score. To customize the safety score for your fleet, see Safety Score Configuration.
Within the Risk Factor widget, you can also see the trend of that given risk factor’s score impact. To identify the events and behaviors that are contained within each risk factor, hover over the info icon at the bottom of the widget or select the widgets to view the Risk Factor Report.

View Score Distribution by Driver or Vehicle
To view the distribution of safety scores across your fleet, you can view a histogram of the safety scores.
To view the safety score histogram by driver or vehicle, perform the following workflow:
Select either Driver or Vehicle from the left of the Safety Summary.
Select the tab next to the Summary tab to view the histogram: the tab will be either Driver or Vehicle based on the selection in the prior step.
To narrow the scope of the results, use the slider bar beneath the graph to change the range to only display vehicles or drivers with safety scores in the range.
To view the results of a safety score, click on the score bar. Only the vehicles or drivers with that safety score display below the histogram.
