Before attempting to add your 3rd party IP cameras, please verify you have the correct IP, Username, and Password for the camera.
We currently support cameras with RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) and H.264 Video Compression. You can validate this from the camera Datasheet usually. If you have further questions please reach out to your camera manufacture to confirm support.
Navigate to the Workforce Dashboard > Cameras > Add a camera.
Select the correct Site Gateway. Please allow for 20 seconds for the Site Gateway discovery to scan the networks for the camera(s).
**If your cameras did not discover, please refer to the Manual step for adding IP Cameras.
Enter the Username and Password for your camera(s) and select Continue.
If successful; you will receive the message, These cameras are valid and will be created. Select Save.
You may also receive the message, These cameras' streams have already been added for this VMS, if you have already added the cameras to the Site Gateway.
If you receive These cameras were not authenticated and won't be created, this usually exists in the event the Username or Password is incorrect.
Select Back and verify credentials.
