Samsara enables you to connect your Ford vehicles with embedded telematics to the Samsara dashboard, with just a click of a button. Instead of installing a Samsara Vehicle Gateway, Samsara can pull data from the on-board embedded telematics.

Create a Ford Pro Account.
If you do not yet have access to the Ford Pro Admin Console, please contact Ford Pro customer support by email at FCS1@ford.com or by phone at 833-327-3673 (US). You will need to provide the following information to Ford Pro:

To complete the account set up:

Look for a welcome e-mail from fcs@emaillq-ford.com (you may want to check your spam in case it may have been sent there).

Click the link in the body of the e-mail to create a password.

You will then be directed to your Fleet Account.
If you cannot find this confirmation email, you can also navigate to http://fleetaccount.ford.com/ and select Forgot Password? to have another confirmation e-mail sent your way.

Configure consent within the Ford Pro Admin Console:

Select the Ford vehicles you want to sync between Samsara and Ford Pro, click Bulk Actions, and provide consent for Ford Pro to share this information with Samsara.
(Optional) To avoid needing to return to the Ford Pro Admin Console for each new vehicle, provide auto-consent to Samsara.

Copy your Ford Pro Admin Console UUID (you will need this for the next step).

Add vehicles within the Samsara dashboard:

Navigate to Settings > Apps.

Click on Ford Pro App and add your Ford Pro Admin Console UUID.

From the Inactive tab, select the vehicles you want to activate within Samsara.
If you do not see vehicles show up on this list, then navigate to your Ford Pro portal and confirm that the VIN is listed in your Ford Pro portal and you have provided consent to Samsara to ingest data for the given vehicle. (We recommend turning Auto-Consent Settings On.) If the vehicles are not listed in this portal, contact the Ford Pro team (fcs1@ford.com or 833-327-3673) to verify vehicle ownership.
Tip
Make sure that your vehicle has been keyed-on in the past 7 days otherwise enrollment will fail. If this is the case, then your vehicle will show up in the Inactive category.
After activation, Samsara will stream all information from Ford as it is available.

NoteEnrollment requests can only be processed for vehicles that have been keyed-on in the past 7 days, otherwise the request will automatically fail. |

I think it would be a good idea to revisit this article. Ford has changed from FCS to Ford Pro. I believe the process has changed.
