- Force check-in the unit.
Press the button 4 times consecutively, holding down the button for less than a second each time. After the 4th button press, the LED will flash a green light 3 times to indicate that the test ping has been initiated.
A solid green light for 2 seconds indicates a successful test ping.
A solid orange light for 2 seconds indicates an unsuccessful test ping.
Please note that there can be a lag of up to 5 minutes before resulting solid LED light appears. Please wait up to 5 minutes for the test ping results.
- Perform a status check on the unit.
Press the button on the side of the AG45/46 unit twice in a row, quickly holding the button down for less than a second each time. A status signal will be communicated through the AG45/46s LED light.
A solid orange light for 5 seconds indicates the unit is not activated.
Two orange light flashes indicate that the unit is not receiving LTE-M signal. Continue to the next step to troubleshoot signal strength.
Five orange light flashes indicate a backend error. This typically occurs if the unit has not been added to an organization.
Eight orange light flashes indicate that there is a problem with the unit’s modem.
- Verify that the unit is receiving good signal.
Indoors and enclosed places tend to have poor connectivity. The AG45/46 is best able to capture cellular connection when positioned with a clear view of the sky.
