Note: The AG24 asset gateway has recently been updated to AG26 in the US and Canada. All information regarding AG24 support, installation, functionality, and features applies to AG26. Samsara will continue to provide support and updates to the AG24. AG26 will be available later this year for our customers in Mexico and Europe.
- Verify that the unit is correctly activated.
The unit should have a First Connected date within the last few years. A device not installed flag will appear in the fleet page for the vehicle. - Check that the device is connected to power.
The unit needs to receive power to properly activate. Ensure that the unit has received power by confirming that the LED light on the unit is green when the asset is powered. If the no light appears, follow the steps for troubleshooting Unplugged/Low Gateway Battery. The unit needs to receive power to properly activate. If the no light appears, follow the steps for troubleshooting Unplugged/Low Gateway Battery. - Check that the LED light on the AG24/26 is not displaying a solid orange light.
This LED behavior signals that the unit is failing to boot. If orange light is on, perform a hard reboot by unplugging the cable from the AG24/26 and plugging it back in.
