IFTA Mileage Report

Please note that a new version of the IFTA Report rolled out October 2020. This new version will replace the old version detailed in this topic, which will be deprecated later in 2021. 

Samsara provides a report within your organization's dashboard with mileage information that pertains to the International Fuel Tax Agreement. You can navigate to this page by following the steps below:

1. From your, Samsara Dashboard navigate to Fuel & Energy > IFTA Mileage.

2. Here you are able to sort by State, Vehicle, or Driver. 

3. You are also able to see the Total Miles for all states in the State tab. 

4. You can select the desired Date Range by clicking once on the start date and a second time on the end date. More information on utilizing the calendar function can be found here.

5. If you would like to Schedule an Emailed Report or Download a CSV of the selected data, click More Actions. Emailed scheduled reports can be set up to send monthly or quarterly. 

Samsara IFTA Mileage Report Terms: 

Toll Distance: The distance traveled on any toll roads.

Distance: The total distance traveled including any toll road mileage.
