At Samsara, we know that it can be hard to frequently open your device's default App Store to check for any updates to an app. To combat the need of visiting the app store, Samsara automatically applies all app updates directly to the Samsara Driver App.
To ensure that the app receives new updates, a driver will need to maintain a practice of frequently signing out of the driver app on their device at the end of every shift. When a driver signs back into the app, any available updates that Samsara has will be automatically updated in to the Samsara Driver App.
When talking with our Customer Support Team, you may need to provide or confirm your Samsara Driver App version. To check the version of the Driver App currently installed on your tablet or mobile device, please make sure to do the following in your Driver App:
Click on the gear on the Driver App home page to access the Samsara Driver App's Settings.
On the Settings page, your current Driver App version is listed in the fourth row, below the Send Feedback option.
