To enable you to identify the risk associated with each behavior, Samsara tags each safety event with a behavior label.

In addition to automatically detected behaviors, you can manually add event labels to highlight behaviors to reflect in the Safety Score and Safety Overview. To include an event that was detected manually alongside events that were detected automatically, you can add the manually-added event label and assign weights as part of the Safety Score Configuration.
Unless otherwise noted, you can manually add a label to a behavior; however, Manual Only events only surface in the Safety Overview and Safety Score if you manually add the event label. The following table summarizes the category and color-coded severity for each behavior label:

The following labels are available in the Safety Inbox and supported with coaching workflows but cannot be configured to reflect in scoring or reports: Near Pedestrian Collision, Unsafe U-turn, Unsafe Left Turn, Unsafe Reversing, and Unsafe Parking
