Alerts allow you to receive email or SMS messages when a specific event occurs.
Select the Alerts tab on the top left corner of the Samsara Dashboard. Once in the Alerts page, you can view historical / current Incidents or Configure new Alerts by going to the Configure tab.
When creating a new alert, users can designate times and days of the week to "silence" notifications under the section titled Avoid these times. Existing alerts can be updated to silence days or times - no need to delete and create a new alert.
