Choosing the right Current Transformers (CT)

Choosing the right CT involves 2 primary factors:

1.  Choose the CT that has an Inside Diameter larger enough to fit around the conductive wire you are monitoring 

     NOTE: If there are multiple feeds for a single phase, you can either run those feeds through a single CT (assuming the CT has a large enough diameter) or run each feed through its own CT that connects back to the same input on the Power Monitor

2.  Choose the CT that matches the amperage of the circuit being monitored (many times can be determined if there is a breaker associated with the circuit in question)
