Integrating with UKG Ultipro

Overview

Connect Samsara to UKG’s Ultipro Time and Attendance system for driver payroll management.

The integration includes the following features:

• Auto clock-in/out time punches generated as driver goes on/off duty in Samsara

• Optional auto on/off duty generated as driver punches in/out of payroll system

Requirements

UKG Ultipro

• API token from UKG

  • Note the token needs to be updated every 90 days

  • Customers can request tokens and updates by contacting UKG customer service

Samsara 

• API access with Read permissions

XDS 

• Execute SOW with XDS

• Customer will need to provide a Samsara API token with rights for accessing driver logs at a minimum

• Customer will need to obtain an API token from UKG

Deployment Steps

Xenolytics Data Solutions (XDS) built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please reach out to XDS Support.

1. Request and sign SOW with XDS

2. Create a Read Samsara API Token named "Ultipro Integration" with the following granular scopes (learn about how to create an API token here):

   1. Drivers

      • Read Drivers

   2. Compliance

      • Read ELD Compliance Settings (US)

3. Obtain an API token from UKG Customer Service

4. Send Samsara API token and UKG API token to support@xenolytic.com to enable the integration

5. XDS Support will configure the account
